New Year in London - The Devil Wears Prada & Gala Dinner by Coach

You’re hired! Meet aspiring journalist Andy Sachs, who is eager to please her new boss, the most powerful woman in the fashion industry. Life’s tough as a personal assistant to the ‘devil’ herself and as her demands grow and the pressure to succeed mounts, naïve Andy finds her moral code wavering, with the desire to impress threatening her personal relationships.

The Devil Wears Prada musical is based on the hugely popular 2006 film of the same name and hits all the right comedy beats with a script written by actor-writer Kate Wetherhead and showstopping music by Elton John plus lyrics by award-winning American musician Shaina Taub.

Also including a trip to Windsor, free time in the capital and a fantastic New Year’s gala celebration at our hotel, this is set to be a fantastic getaway!

Itinerary

30 December - London & Theatre Performance

From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel by coach to our hotel. After check-in, we head to central London to enjoy some time at leisure before making our way to the theatre for the evening performance. Afterwards, the coach takes us to our hotel for our overnight stay.

31 December - Windsor & Gala Dinner on New Year's Eve

After breakfast at the hotel, we travel to Windsor for a charming change of pace. See Windsor Castle, stroll along the Long Walk through Windsor Great Park or do a spot of shopping in Windsor town centre. We return to our hotel in the afternoon to get ready for our gala dinner, followed by a disco and a Bucks fizz at midnight. Happy New Year!

1 January - London on New Year's Day

After breakfast at the hotel, we head back into central London for more time to explore this vibrant city. Our coach departs for home in the mid-afternoon.

Delta by Marriot Hotel, Heathrow Windsor

JG3 rating

The Delta by Marriott, Heathrow Windsor Hotel is conveniently situated for easy access into London. The hotel offers contemporary rooms with flat-screen TVs and tea and coffee-making facilities as well as a bar, restaurant and pizzeria. The hotel’s leisure club features a heated indoor pool, sauna and fitness centre.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.

Arrival and free-time in London

All of our London breaks include free time at leisure and we use a central coach drop-off point for our London tours, so these breaks may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. You will be required to make your own way to the theatre and/or attraction.

Your London theatre show

Regrettably we cannot be held responsible for cast changes or the non-appearance of a particular actor/actress and no refunds will be given in this event.

Whilst we always try to ensure that parties are seated in the theatre together, very occasionally, due to the ticket allocations we receive, it may be necessary for parties to be split. We always ensure that couples are seated together.
